Toddlerese

I forgot how CUTE toddler language is!!! Oh the joy! Rowan is on a "Word a Day" kick. It's funny, because at Thanksgiving someone was asking if he was talking much and I at first said not really. But then I started to realize that he really does say a lot, but he whispers everything, so you sort of miss it.

My favorites so far:

"seeca seeca" as we're driving around town. Finally figured out it was "see car." He used to say "ca" and then I would respond, "Oh do you see a car?" so it turned into "seeca" (Whispered, of course)

"What does the kitty say?" "Hi Keey!" (Hi kitty.)

"tikka toe" (Tickle toes)

"dee doo!" (Thank you)

and my new favorite: Me: "Who's this?" (Pointing at a picture of Aidan) Rowan: (Big beaming smile) "Nee Nee!"

Oh my melty heart. How much cuter can they get?
