Double Take

"Where the +$%*!! are my glasses???!!!" I think as I scramble to get ready to go to Aidan's concert. I literally have five minutes to throw off my stinky server clothes, wash my face and get dressed to get out the door.



"Have you seen my glasses????!!!" I yell downstairs to Fitty. No, he hasn't.



They HAVE to be right here...look in the obvious places. Dresser? No. Computer? No. Bathroom? Walk in, look around, look past Rowie playing at the sink and absent mindedly pat his head. No. On top of my head? No. COME ON!! Where ARE they??? Walk into Aidan's and Rowan's bedrooms and look. Walk into the bathroom again, look past Rowan and in the medicine cabinet. Walk out. Wait. Double take. Did I really just see that?
